West Bengal HS Exam 2024: Know Higher Secondary Latest Announcements, Help Line Number and Other Things Before Exam Start
This year's higher secondary examination will start from the day after tomorrow i.e. 16th February 2024. The Higher Secondary Education Council has announced several new announcements for the examinees in the run-up to the examination.
The higher secondary examination 2024 is going to start in the state on February 16, i.e. Friday. On this day, the education council made a statement about the examination center and examination rules in a press conference. 7 lakh 90 thousand candidates are participating in this year's exam. Although the number of examinees is slightly less than last year, the education council does not want to leave any shortcoming in the management. This year the exam will be conducted in a total of 2341 exam centers. According to the parliament, 176 of these centers are vulnerable. For this reason, metal detectors, radio frequency detectors and other security measures have been adopted at the examination centers. Also, some special rules have been applied for this exam. ● There will be two invigilators or guards in each room.
● Each question paper will have a serial number.
● There will be one invigilator or guard for every 25 students.
● There will be CCTV at the main gate of the examination center.
● There is also CCTV surveillance in the venue supervisor's room.
A 24-hour helpline has been launched by the Higher Secondary Education Council. Candidates or their parents can directly contact this number if they face any problem during the exam days. The helpline number issued by the Parliament is 033-2337 0792. Like Madhyamik, here also the serial number of the question paper should be written on the answer sheet. There is also a special QR Code system for higher secondary questions.
